A getaway to London

A getaway to London

London is a cosmopolitan city, where many cultures meet, and where you have to go to enjoy a few days to appreciate all it has to offer! When I still lived in France (many years ago!), it was so easy to go there for a quick getaway: The Eurostar takes you there in a couple of hours. How nice it is to be a quick train-ride away to the heart of the busy London! More recently, I had the pleasure to go back there for a girl trip with my sister and my mom, for the birthday of the latter....

Behind the scenes: Our Pool design

Today we’ll take you on a little tour behind the scenes of Liligraffiti’s creations: we wanted to share with you the story of our “Pool” visual, a very special design for us, that symbolizes and incarnated the whole collection for us. This collection, as you already know, was born during the lockdown and the pandemic context: it was designed as an artistic response to the negativity, the loneliness, and the uncertainty all around us. The result was an overload of  bright and luminous colors, representations of people gathered again, a general feeling of joy that we can feel like a...

A getaway to San Francisco

San Francisco is one of those cities that you fall in love with instantly. I discovered it a few years back, during a family trip. I was supposed to went back there, on my own, last year for a business trip, but unfortunately the Covid situation stopped that project. So be it! I'll take today down memory lane in this magical city, that reminds me in lots of way (and especially the sweet way of life) my dear Montreal. The San Francisco vibe is quite different from all the other US cities that I've been to. More relaxed, more creative, more...

An illustration project: design of a candle's label

A nice collab with a local flower shop. You know how much we love our local boutiques. They need you more than ever in this strange period! One of our lovely retailers, Florilège (A flower shop) contacted us a few months ago for a very exciting project: to create the visual of label of their upcoming candle. This was something absolutely never-done-before for me, and I was very happy to start this job. A bit about Florilège: Florilège is as flower shop located in the St-Henri hood in Montreal, and has opened less than 2 years ago. Run by two...

Some of our most loved and popular animal visuals Animals have always been a large part of our visuals. My childhood was filled with cats and dogs, as well as many other animals that I encountered when I visited my grand-parents, which are probably some of my most happy memories. Notebooks to help you remember

Notebooks to help you remember

A nice hack to turn an everyday item into something priceless. Some of my favorite memories are about little things that I used to collect from my walks or the experiences I lived. They were lots of them, filling my pockets, and then some boxes when I was back home. Growing up, the power of words became another great discovery: I learned how writing about things you were experiencing helped you remember not only the experience itself, but also the feelings and emotions that surrounded it. When I first started my stationery line and designed my very first Liligraffiti collections,...
