Montréal au fil des saisons

Montreal through the seasons

It's no secret, my adopted city Montreal has always amazed me: I particularly like the heterogeneous and surprising architecture with the external stairs, which give a particular charm to the houses. Here, the relaxed atmosphere is inspiring, the gastronomy is uninhibited, people assume original clothing styles, tattoos are exposed. It blows a wind of freedom in Montreal, the city where everyone can feel at home.

You will surely have noticed ... I draw a lot of house facades. I always wonder who lives behind ... The colors attract me, and I have to admit that I have a passion for doors that I like to photograph. Little anecdote, the door of my house is red and it completely seduced me at first glance!

I like to illustrate Montreal as I see it throughout the seasons. This winter, I drew a snowy alley with colorful facades of the Plateau. I love to walk, never knowing what mural or little unusual coffee I will discover, and enjoy neighborhoods full of life and in perpetual evolution. Even if I like beautiful winter storms, right now I can't wait for the spring to come! I did not resist to draw a pastel-colored summer facade, embellished with lush green plants and a pretty bicycle: all my passions together! In spring and summer, I love how light floods the parks in Montreal, the ambient heat, the birds and the flower gardens. It's simple: in Montreal, during the summer, I always feel that I am on vacation!

These two new visuals, from winter to spring, exist in postcard, greeting card, and art print. But that's not all! A newcomer appears in the Lili graffiti stationery line: a 140-page journal. It's the perfect travel companion for keeping memories and good addresses. Inside, the sketch pages alternate with the lined pages to give free rein to creativity. The Montreal model is illustrated with emblems of the city: ice skates, maple leaf, squirrel, school bus ... Not to mention the notepad that perfectly combines practice and aesthetics!
