Notebooks to help you remember

A nice hack to turn an everyday item into something priceless. Some of my favorite memories are about little things that I used to collect from my walks or the experiences I lived. They were lots of them, filling my pockets, and then some boxes when I was back home. Growing up, the power of words became another great discovery: I learned how writing about things you were experiencing helped you remember not only the experience itself, but also the feelings and emotions that surrounded it. When I first started my stationery line and designed my very first Liligraffiti collections,...

My autumn essentials

Bye bye terraces, oh hello hot chocolates! I like the beginning of the fall season because of the colors of course, the cozy atmosphere, the warm light ... and because I can spend more time at home, drinking chaï latté while reading a good novel, or taking a walk on Mount Royal. At the studio, it’s also a transitional season: the fall-winter collection is launched, we start getting ready for the markets and the holiday season. Here is a preview of my autumn essentials… Going to sleep in a tree house in the beautiful region of Lanaudière to observe the...

Montreal in 26 letters 2.0

If you’re reading these lines, you must have already seen this illustration: Montreal in 26 letters represents Lili Graffiti for years. This is one of the first visuals created when I arrived in Montreal. Inspired by the embroidered alphabets of my childhood home, I wanted to capture the essence of Montreal in 26 symbols ... A fun exercise but longer than it seems! I immediately had positive feedback from my family and friends. The illustration was very popular with Montrealers and tourists. They appreciated the concept, and had fun with my new eye on Montreal. Originally a postcard, the illustration...

The new vegetal & urban stationery collection

Just in time for back to school, our new collection of colorful stationery is finally available! Composed of greeting cards and stationery accessories, it’s inspired by Montreal life: facades with vibrant colors, abundant summer vegetation and its incomparable sweetness of life! This season, the tones are vibrant, there are Costa Rican inspirations for the exotic side and the palette of colors is warm: rosewood, terracotta, sea green, ivory. The rainbow was the starting point of this collection, for the shades of colors, aesthetics and simplicity. Nature is represented in its wild appearance, it magnifies the facades of houses and gives...

A postcard from Montreal

Nice discoveries and sunny holydays in Montreal. On the program: strolls on the Plateau Mont-Royal where the architecture is eclectic and colorful, then a small tour at the Jean-Talon market via the Mile-End. Here the mountain rises to 233m, surprising but beautiful panorama on the city center! The pedestrian streets of Old Montreal are charming and we loved the bike ride along the St. Lawrence. The Quartier des Spectacles is very lively: festivals, museums and concerts, there is a lot to choose from! Of course we fell in love with squirrels, but less with the orange cones on every street...
